The Holy Scriptures know as the Bible are the inspired word of God and are the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice. We are encouraged to sound doctrine, Creeds, however, are not the primary basis of Christian Fellowship. Let it be remembered therefore that this is not given as a summary of the complete revelation of biblical truth, only that it covers our present needs as to these fundamental doctrines.
We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15,16)
We believe in one God,
eternally existent in three
persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6: 4, Matthew 28: 19 Mark 12: 29)
We believe in the virgin
birth of Christ, his vicarious
atoning death, bodily resurrection and ascension (Isaiah 17:14 Romans:
34)
We believe in Baptism in
water by full immersion for all
believers (Matthew 28: 19)
We believe in divine healing
through the redemptive work
of Christ on the cross
(Isaiah 53: 4,5 Matthew 8;
16,17 James 5: 14)
We believe in the Baptism in
the Holy Spirit with the
normal initial, physical evidence of speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4
Acts
2: 19:6)
We believe in the present
day operation of the nine gifts
of the Spirit as recorded in (1 Corinthians 12 and in the ministry
gifts of
Christ recorded in (Ephesians 4,11,12)
We believe in the
sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit,
which enables a believer to live a
holy life (Hebrews 12: 14, 1
Peter 1: 15,11,16)
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ (Acts 24: 15 Acts 1; 11)
We believe in the millennial
reign of the Lord Jesus
Christ upon the earth (Revelations 20: 1,7)
We believe in everlasting punishment for the wicked (Matthew 25: 46 Matthew 13: 49,50 Luke 12: 47,48 2 Thessalonians 1: 8,9 Romans 6: 23 Revelations 20: 11,15)
We believe in the Privilege
and Responsibility of
bringing Tithes and Offerings to the Lord
We believe we are a Christ
centered Church. Jesus Christ
is Lord, and we hold Him to be pre-eminent in all things. For this
reason we
devote much time and attention to worship and praise.
We believe that the unity of the Spirit supersedes barriers, and welcome anyone who is open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ as Savior to fellowship with us. We recognize that we are a part of the wider fellowship of the whole body of Christ.
